Born to loving parents Albert and Linda Hutcehson in Nassau, Bahamas – Kimberly T’Shura Bowser (née Hutcheson) is the eldest of three children. First Lady Bowser accepted Chirst into her life at 13, and has been dedicated to working in the ministry ever since. She has served in various capacities in ministry including the Youth Ministry, Handmaidens Ministry, Women's Department, and Hospitality Ministry and The Women’s Choir. Additionally, Bowser founded the Judah Dance Ministry and The Anointed Feet Teams at her former church home, Abundant Life Christian Center COGIC.
Pursing higher education, First Lady Bowser left the Bahamas in 1993 to attend St. Augustine’s College. She would later graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her undergraduate career, First Lady Bowser met her future husband Pastor Braxton D. Bowser Sr. in 1996. Following their fairytale courtship, they were united in holy matrimony June 12th, 1999.
For over a decade, First Lady Bowser was a student of the anointed First Lady of Abundant Life, Sister Beverly A. Powell. First Lady Powell has taught her to become a "help meet" and not a "hell mate" to her husband. It was under her guidance that First Lady Bowser learned to really love people because "we are in the people business."
First Lady Bowser's desire is to serve the Lord with all of her heart, mind and soul. She echoes the sentiments of her husband,
"We will love the people of God through whatever it is they are going through."
